  1. Academic results and documents (i.e. O & A-levels results certificate, polytechnic diploma transcripts, past 3 years school results, etc where applicable)
  2. IELTS results, if available
  3. Passport
Founded in 1936, Columbia College is the oldest international college in Canada and through its 80 years history, many students from the world over have successfully progressed into world renowned universities like 
  1. The University of British Columbia,
  2. Simon Fraser University,
  3. University of Victoria,
  4. McGill University,
  5. University of Toronto,
  6. University of Alberta,

  8. many other Canadian Institutions.
Programs offered at Columbia College that are suitable for Singapore students includes:-
  • University Transfer in Arts, Business, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, and Science.
    • University Transfer programs offer the first and second year university courses for transfers to major universities across Canada and the U.S.
    • Over the years, Columbia College has consistently been one of the colleges with the most number of international student successfully transferred to The University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University.
    • University Transfer programs are suitable for the following students:-
      • polytechnic graduates with diploma not eligible for direct entry
      • A-levels graduates not meeting the program specific requirements (i.e.took H1 Math instead of H2 Math)
      • graduates with lower than required scores
      • graduates who have missed the application deadline or intake
      • graduates who want to start in January or May
  • University Foundation 
    • University Foundation is ideal for university-bound students who wish to complete Grade 11 or 12 in Canada, leading to a British Columbia high school diploma or certificate.
    • Most popular University Foundation program for Singaporean students is the Accelerated Program and the Adult Secondary Program.
    • Accelerated Program is most suited for students who have completed O-levels. 
      • Can start in January right after the O-levels examinations.
      • Start directly with Grade 12 courses as completion of O-levels is equivalent to Grade 11.
      • Duration of Accelerated Program is 4 months.
      • Completion of Accelerated Program, students progress directly into the University Transfer program to start their Canadian bachelor degree.
    • Adult Secondary Program is most suited for students aged 18 years or older.
      • Adult students can progress into the University Transfer program and then transfer to university as second or third year students.
