In British Columbia (BC) Canada, rather than apply directly to Engineering at University of British Columbia (UBC), students can choose to do Engineering Transfer before transferring to UBC Engineering.
Engineering Transfer is equivalent to the first year engineering program at UBC. Within BC, there are eight (8) post-secondary institutions offering this engineering transfer program. Students who successfully complete an engineering transfer program with any of the 8 post-secondary institutions within one (1) full-time year, at one institution, and with a GPA of at least 2.5 are guaranteed admission to second year engineering at UBC1.
The eight (8) post-secondary institutions:
Capilano University (represented by Think Education, contact us for more details)
Langara College (represented by Think Education, contact us for more details)
Vancouver Island University (represented by Think Education, contact us for more details)
